Kindel Furniture has built a reputation as one of America’s finest manufacturers of quality traditional reproduction and contemporary furniture.

Recent acquisitions of heritage brand Karges Furniture and Councill Furniture have positioned Kindel Furniture uniquely as a preeminent, luxury furniture brand made in the United States that is committed to bench-made methods and superior craftsmanship. The three respected brands are now joined together in one factory and collectively are known today as Kindel Furniture Grand Rapids.

Since its inception in 1901, Kindel Furniture has built its furniture entirely in Grand Rapids, Michigan. And by building the finest quality piece of furniture possible, has earned licensing rights to the designs held by such great historical societies as the Winterthur Museum, Mount Vernon, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Irish Georgian Society. Recently, Kindel introduced designs that represent contemporary reflections on beautiful vintage design, such as the Dorothy Draper collection developed in coordination with her protégé, Carlton Varney.
